Do it without thinking, satisfying the needs of your body and finish with a deep breath. This is when we must be careful. If we intend to continue stretching with more specific exercises, we will probably feel our muscles tense, very rigid and with greater difficulty in stretching. When we wake up, after hours of rest, we are less flexible and, if we force ourselves, we could suffer an injury.

Doing so in the morning has a very positive physical, mental and emotional response to face the day and it is a habit that undoubtedly becomes necessary. Whether it is specific stretching exercises, such as a short yoga session, paying attention to the body in the morning, and doing it in tune with breathing, brings many advantages. You can choose to do four stretches in total, one for each muscle group. Slowly bring the body to the position you want, hold it and relax with deep breathing that allows you to go further and further.

Remember that it is essential, in this context and in any other, to listen to your body and give it what it needs to achieve well-being. We often train at high intensity and we want to improve ourselves, demanding strength and energy without giving anything in return. A correct diet, sufficient rest (in your sports routine, at work and at night) and daily stretching will help you to have optimal health in all aspects.
